Tikvah Campus Ambassadors
Call for Applications 2019-2020

Last year we launched the Tikvah Campus Ambassador program. This program allowed Tikvah alumni – for the first time – to have a formal role on campus to organize Tikvah reading groups, to host speakers on campus, to share Tikvah programs with fellow students, and to join Tikvah in giving back great ideas to their campus communities. We are excited to announce our call for applications for the second year of Tikvah ambassadors.

The Position: The Ambassador position is open to all current college students. The only mandatory tasks for an ambassador are to keep abreast of Tikvah’s offerings for college students and to be a friendly face on campus who can direct students to these opportunities. The position lasts for the 2019-2020 academic year, with the option to continue in subsequent years while you are still in college.

We are happy to offer our ambassadors discounts or subscriptions to all Tikvah publications (Mosaic, Jewish Review of Books, Tikvah Online Courses).

Additional compensation comes through the performance of tasks that, as an ambassador, you can accomplish with our support:

  • Summer program referrals. You will earn a $250 Amazon gift card for every 3 applicants that you refer to our summer seminars or fellowship. These must be students who have not applied to Tikvah programs before and who cite you as the referrer on their application.

  • Reading group. You will earn $250 (plus the cost of materials, food, etc.) to host a reading group, consisting of at least 5 sessions, based on Tikvah material. If you are interested, we will help you find something excellent that fits the interests of your community.

Application: If you would like to apply, please click here or on the yellow buttons on this page. If you have any questions, please email Tobey Linhart (tlinhart@tikvahfund.org). Applications for the 2019-2020 ambassador role will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We will respond within two weeks of your application.
