Bari Weiss is a staff editor in the New York Times opinion section. She moved to the Times from the Wall Street Journal, where she worked as associate book review editor and also wrote frequently about topics like political correctness and campus culture. As a student at Columbia, Weiss founded the Columbia Coalition for Sudan and  was a co-founder of Columbians for Academic Freedom.
