Tikvah Scholars Program

The Tikvah summer program was a meaningful experience for me because I learned an incredible amount from amazing teachers, and it enabled me to think critically about issues facing both the modern world and Judaism. Distinguished professors and equally passionate students forced me to question my preconceived beliefs while simultaneously entertaining new ideas about religious freedom, the relationship between economics and morality, Jewish ethics and more. Intellectual conversations with professors and peers did not stop as class ended and instead were had on walks to class, during meals and even while hanging out in the dorms. My experience on Tikvah has prepared me for a Jewish life in today’s changing world.
