Andrew Gabel

Law and Public Policy

Andrew Gabel is a J.D. candidate at Duke University School of Law. Prior to entering law school, he served as a special advisor to Sen. Tom Cotton (R.–AR). In this capacity, he provided policy analysis on numerous national security issues relating to China, the U.S. industrial base, U.S. advanced technology strategy, and U.S.-Sino economic integration. Before joining Sen. Cotton’s office, he worked as a research analyst at Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) in support of FDD’s Center on Military and Political Power. He started his career at the Bechtel Corporation, where he worked in the firm’s global treasury and corporate finance group. Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Kenyon College, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science.
