Ari Schaffer

Ari Schaffer is the Director of Communications and Press Secretary for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, the chief elections official of the state of Georgia. In that role, Ari has spent the better part of the last year defending the integrity of Georgia’s November 2020 elections. Before moving to Georgia, Ari worked in communications in the U.S. Department of Commerce and the White House. Ari is originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, and graduated from Johns Hopkins University. For his fellowship, Ari will be focusing on the role of Jews and Jewish values in modern practical American politics. Ari’s research will look into how Jewish experience can provide valuable guidance for addressing problems faced by contemporary American society.
