Matthew Foldi is a reporter at the Washington Free Beacon, covering Democrats from the state House to the White House. Prior to his start in journalism, he worked as the Rapid Response Director for the House Republican Super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund, last cycle. He previously worked as the Rapid Response Director Caroline Glick’s Knesset campaign and for Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner. At age 19 he was elected as the Ward Committeeman in Chicago’s 5th Ward, making him the youngest elected official in Chicago’s history. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018.
