Join the Tikvah Society
The Tikvah Society is a community of people dedicated to a few core propositions:
-
- We believe that the Jews are an exceptional people; that Jewish civilization is a treasure for the world; and that the creation and flourishing of modern Israel is a heroic achievement.
- We believe that American democracy—with its cherished principles of religious liberty, a free society, and strong communities—is a precious inheritance for American Jews and for all citizens.
- And we believe that ideas matter. If we care about the future leaders of the Jewish community and the Jewish State—intellectual leaders, political leaders, religious leaders, educational leaders—then we need to educate young people in the great books, great debates, and great statesmen that have shaped Jewish, Western, and Zionist civilization.
To advance this mission—to bring the best Jewish and Zionist ideas to the world—we need your help.
As a member of the Tikvah Society, you will gain access to a wide variety of Society benefits—including:
-
- An incredible and ongoing mix of lectures and panels, seminars and conversations, private briefings and debates, led by world-renowned thought leaders on subjects like Jewish history and philosophy, Israel and the Middle East, American culture and society, law and public policy, economics and strategy.
- Full and privileged access to Tikvah Open University, with new courses every few months.
- Full, easy, and early access to everything we publish and produce—including Mosaic, Bible 365 and Stories Jews Tell podcasts, and our regular e-books and weekly reports on Israeli politics society.
- Two complimentary tickets to our annual Jewish Leadership Conference.
As a member of the Tikvah Society, you will provide crucial support for our wide range of educational programs for exceptional young Jews.
At Tikvah, students remain at the core of everything we do—and we aim to provide a supplement, an alternative, and sometimes a much-needed counterweight to what young Jews are learning (or not learning) in today’s secular public schools and universities. By joining the Tikvah Society, we can continue to expand programs such as the Tikvah Online Academy and the Tikvah Summer Institutes for middle school, high school, and gap year students, along with our fellowships and the Tikvah-Beren Collegiate Forum for undergraduates, graduate students, and young professionals. Your partnership will have a direct impact on thousands of young Jews and Zionists (ages 12-29) across the United States and Israel.
Their testimonials shed light on how your gift will make a difference:
Tikvah was…a highlight of my year! Through the informative reading material [and] in-depth, seminar-style discussions…the program helped me understand the interconnectedness between my religious, secular, and political values and prepared me to defend them in the future. – Serena Bane, 19
The Tikvah program invited me to ask important philosophical and theological questions, on topics like the nature of moral authority and the future of the Jewish State….it is an obligation and a privilege to have high-level conversations with other Jews in the pursuit of a secure and prosperous Jewish future. – Jared Mayer, 25
