THE TIKVAH SUMMER FELLOWSHIP

Applications for this program are closed.

T

he Tikvah Summer Fellowship aims to inspire and empower young men and women to lead lives of Jewish purpose and leadership. The tight cohort of Fellows will spend eight weeks in residence in New York City, grappling with great texts, big ideas, and serious challenges that face the Jewish people today.

The program will be led by preeminent professors, rabbis, and intellectuals who straddle the worlds of academic research and active engagement in Jewish affairs. The texts that guide the learning will be seminal works of literature, philosophy, political thought, and commentary. Students will engage in independent research projects that analyze difficult practical challenges faced by Jewish leaders today. These might include: How to strengthen and sustain Jewish schools, how to secure religious freedom, how to bolster the strategic relationship between America and Israel, and how to engage as Jews in some of the great cultural battles of our age.

If you are interested a summer of learning, meaningful work, and personal growth as a torch-bearer of Jewish civilization, we invite you to explore the pages on this website, to be in touch with questions, and to apply to join us!
