Joshua: The Biblical Idea of Political Leadership

After Moses died, his protégé, Joshua, took over as leader of the Jewish people. Joshua won the loyalty of the people, maintained order during religious unrest, and, of course, conquered the Land of Canaan. How did he achieve these things? How did he succeed as a Jewish leader? And how can contemporary Jewish leaders follow his example? In this seminar, we will consider these timely and timeless questions as we read the Book of Joshua.
