In this class, we will listen to his greatest speeches and read about his life, attitudes, and character. We will also explore select speeches of Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II, both thematically linked to Churchill’s wartime speeches. By means of these great speeches, we will discuss the characteristics of political greatness and explore what makes for truly outstanding leadership.
