Reason and Emotion in Jewish Thought

Descartes famously asserted, “I think, therefore I am,” but why didn’t he say, “I feel, therefore I am”? This seminar will explore the various views and reflect them into your lived experience of reason and emotion. Finally, we’ll also challenge whether the binary of reason versus emotion is quite as simple as we might think.
