Hillel Halkin


Hillel Halkin is the author of Yehuda Halevi (2010),  Across the Sabbath River: In Search of a Lost Tribe of Israel (2002), and Letters to an American-Jewish Friend: A Zionist Polemic (1977).  His essays have appeared in Commentary, the New Republic, the Jerusalem Post, and other publications, and he serves on the editorial board of the Jewish Review of Books. His translation of Moyshe Kulbak’s Yiddish masterpiece, The Zelmenyaners, was released in January 2013.
