Tal Fortgang worked as a senior research associate at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC, prior to law school, where he focused on poverty, economic mobility, American constitutional government, and political history. An accomplished writer, Tal’s work has appeared in Commentary, the Wall Street Journal, National Affairs, and National Review, among other outlets. He earned his undergraduate degree in politics with a certificate in Judaic studies from Princeton University, where he wrote his thesis under constitutional scholar Keith Whittington. He is a J.D. candidate at New York University Law School. During his summer as a Tikvah Legal Fellow, Tal interned for Judge Steven J. Menashi of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
