The Solomon Fellowship is a transformative learning experience designed for ambitious 11th and 12th grade scholars who are preparing for the journey ahead in college, gap year – and beyond. As Fellows, students engage in personalized tutorials, receive individualized college guidance, and have the unique opportunity to contribute and publish in (and even join the editorial staff of) the Solomon Journal.
The purpose of the Solomon Fellowship is to introduce the best young minds to the most brilliant ideas and accomplishments of our civilization through an authentic Jewish and Western worldview. This comprehensive program will empower students to excel academically by sharpening their critical thinking, cultivating their persuasive argumentation and strengthening their Jewish and Zionist identities.
We know that students at this age have one eye on college, and we are willing to invest our time, resources and funds to facilitate this transition into the next chapter of their education. Our goal is to provide them with the necessary tools, guidance, and support that not only ensure their academic success but also empower them to approach their future, proud of their Jewish heritage and confident in their Zionism.
The Solomon Fellowship is a two-year course consisting of several components and each year is broken into two terms.
Throughout the two years there will be events, debates and in-person meet ups to complement the tutorials. Furthermore, Solomon Fellows are expected to write for the Solomon Journal and/or start a Tikvah initiative such as a Tikvah chapter or a book club at school, at shul or in their communities.
