Campus Leader Expectations
- Work with interested students and a Tikvah mentor to formulate an intellectual project that your chapter will pursue over the course of an academic year or semester.
- Organize a Tikvah chapter on your campus that meets regularly and communicate with your Tikvah point of contact about your meetings.
- We will assist you by connecting you with other Tikvah community members at your campus.
- In many cases – and only if you decide it’s useful – we can hire an excellent person from our network of young professionals as an outside facilitator for meetings.
- Ensure that a succession plan is in place so that the chapter lasts beyond your graduation date.
- Send a delegation (1-4 students) to our Redstone Leadership Forum, held at the University of Florida in early winter.
Becoming a Chartered Tikvah Campus Chapter
In order to receive an official charter from Tikvah, Campus Chapter leaders are required to submit three items:
- A list of committed students who will make up the chapter’s core membership
- A schedule of the semester’s meetings and topics of discussion
- An estimated budget for the semester
