Tikvah Israel Fellowship

The Tikvah Israel Fellowship (TIF) offers young women and men who are studying in a yeshiva, seminary, or other gap-year program the opportunity to study the great texts, dramatic events, extraordinary personalities that forged the modern history of Zionism.

The TIF is not a replacement for full-time, serious study in yeshiva or seminary. Instead, acceptance into the program serves to supplement the gap-year experience: a unique opportunity to discuss the military conflicts, political debates, and works of literature and poetry that made modern Israel. Participants build great friendships with students at over 20 shana ba’aretz programs looking to uncover the roots of Israeli society and Israeli politics.
